SU Fanart | Alexandrite Screenshot Redraw

 
Another screenshot redraw from Steven Universe, this time MEGA MOM. I don't really know what compelled me to do her, but this moment came to mind and I just got really excited by the idea of doing it. It proved to be a bit of a challenge, but was really really fun.

My main issue was with how to do the colouring. With the previous one, I used the same colours as the screenshot so it wasn't really an issue, however with this one I took Alexandrite's normal colours and modified used filters to help them match the screenshot (I did the same thing with the sunbathing morgan picture), which made it closer to what I would have done if I hadn't had a screenshot. As a result the colours and suchlike aren't 100% the same, they aren't as vibrant and I think the line between red and green is a bit poor (it would've been too hard to fix), but I still think came out good. I also experimented a little with motion blur and the dashing effects. Blurring can be a very good effect, although sometimes it dosen't really match my 'clean' lineart style. Ah well, I opted to keep it since it looked slightly better with the blur than without (and less similar to the screenshot, which was probably the intention.

PS, ill known fact about me - I LOVE DRAWING DROOL!
