Ze Skunk Pirate

MM, really proud of this so I thought I'd share, even if I did make a few mistakes (the battern on the back for one). I'm considering doing a set of pirate animalsd but I don't really know yet. Probably one of my best (and biggest) inks yet.

I like working with negative space and stuff. I like the style where you have black insides with white outlines, so that's what I wanted to work with with this. It kind of takes me back to the comics I read as a child and reminds me of black hair in cartoons. I made a lot of mistakes and accidentally drew lines where I wasn't supposed to, a lot of them I edited out digitally but are still clear on the origonal (for one, I drew the lines on the hair up to the head, and the line on the tail is smaller than I wanted, I was going to edit it a lot more but I felt I shouldn'tve changed to too much).
It's something that I really like doing and defiently want to practice. The only problem is the pens, this took 2 or 3 coats to make the black look 'solid', plus it's very time consuming and wastes my pens, so I need to look up better ways to fill in large spaces (I think people use brushes? I don't really want to use a brush.)
